Video Production in the Curriculum

This section is for teachers. It is a resource that will provide practical suggestions on how to inegrate video production into the surriculum. This section will also explore the world of media literacy.

Here are some lessons for the classroom:

Five in One
These lessons are used to help student become familier with the production process. They are asked to capture a set of actions on video.

How To
This lesson captures a presentation on video. This is similar to the "Five in One" in that the students can record a presentation in shot and one set up. Or they can break the presentation down into shots and create a video with close ups, cut aways and effects.

The Scavenger Hunt
This excersise introduces the camera to the students. Here they are ask to go and shoot particular kinds of shots. By gathering these shots, they learn how to use the camera.

Once the video is made, now what? How are you going to show your work? Find out the codes you need to show your work on the web.
