Using
Effects
Remember
that when you use an effect other than a cut or dissovle you
are saying "Hey look at this effect!" The effect
becomes the story. This can be neat and useful because it
makes the video look slick. However, you need to decide on
using the effect because it helps tell the story not because
it looks cool.
Please
note that the use of effects in editing will increase the
file size and may cause your video to look bad when you go
to compress.
